What is a list ID and how does Connex add products to sales?
- Each QuickBooks product has a unique ID called a list ID. A list ID is like a person's social security number.
- Connex locates matching products in QuickBooks POS and enters their list ID onto the sale.
- If the product is missing, Connex will create it and obtain a list ID.
If our software failed to create the product or failed to match a product, then the sync will fail. Please ensure that the product exists in QuickBooks. On our configure page, scroll down to product matching. Ensure the correct field is selected. If you chose item number, ensure that all SKUs match the item number in QuickBooks.
