Company File Rebuild Web Connector Stuck at 68%


Our tool pulls orders by their date modified. A company file rebuild could modify several orders. As a result, the volume is too large and Connex will stop working.

How do I get the connector running again?

You can tell Connex to sync orders by their date created, instead of date modified. The date created field is never changed. The downside is no changes to orders will sync, so you want to turn off this box.

  1. Login to Connex
  2. Click submit at my connections.
  3. On sync manually from QuickBooks section, check sync orders by date created: sync.png
  4. Click submit.
  5. Run your web connector again.
  6. Return to Connex and uncheck the date created box.

I want to sync by date modified. Is there another way?

You can modify orders in QuickBooks. In this example, the sync date 6/19/2017. Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. Click configure at my connections.
  3. Expand the sync from QuickBooks manually section.
  4. Set the sync dates to 6/20 to 6/21.
  5. Click sync now.
  6. Run the web connector.
  7. Open each order in QuickBooks.
  8. Add test to the memo field.
  9. Click save.
  10. Run the web connector.
