There are two ways to send unit of measure. Connex can use the unit of measure on the QuickBooks item record or you can use the rules engine.
How does it work?
Each QuickBooks product has a default unit of measure. If Connex sends no unit of measure, then QuickBooks will use the default unit of measure on file.
How do I use the rules engine to map a unit of measure?
In this example, our software will map the each as the UOM for skus ending with EA:
- Go to the Connex rules engine.
- Click action and add new rule.
- Add this rule.
How do I map unit of measure for products?
To add unit of measure, follow these steps:
- In QB, go to edit > preferences > inventory.
- Enable unit of measure.
- In QB, go to lists > item list.
- Double click an item.
- Change its UOM:
