Can I add the order number as a line item in QB POS?

How does Connex add the order number?

Connex uses a field called tip receiver, a non-searchable field. The original order number appears in the comments section, but it is also non-searchable. If you add the order number as a line item, QB POS allows you to search.

How do I activate the feature and find orders by number?


  1. On the Connex advanced tab, check insert order number as line item.
  2. Click submit.
  3. Sync an order.
  4. In QB POS, go to point of sale and click order history.
  5. Enter the order number.
