How do I manage tax in QB POS?

Introduction

If your store charges multiple tax rates per state, then you should add tax as a line item. The tax will appear as a non inventory part, similar to how shipping is added, and the order will balance. QB POS can only handle one tax rate per state.

Set-Up

To set up tax as a line item, follow these steps:

  1. On the Connex configure page, click the transaction tab.
  2. Scroll down to sales tax settings.
  3. Click add tax as line item.
  4. Click save and sync.
