How do I manually sync orders from QuickBooks to my ordering solution?

Introduction

Connex syncs automatically every fifteen minutes. If you need to sync faster, you can tell Connex to process orders ASAP.

Instructions

Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Connex for QuickBooks.
  2. On the my connections page, select your connection or click submit if you only have one connection.
  3. On the configure page, go to the QB export tab.
  4. Connex will pull orders by their modified date. QuickBooks uses PST, so an order placed at 12 pm EST will be 9 am EST. Change the sync dates. We recommend searching a few hours before and after an order was placed: 
  5. Connex cannot update orders. It must delete and reinsert them. Check the box for update orders, if you want to reinsert and update them. This step is optional.
  6. Click save and sync.
  7. Run your web connector.

If you want to manually sync shipping details from ShipStation to QuickBooks, follow these steps:

  1. On the QB export tab above, check update QB tracking and shipping.
  2. On the configure page, scroll down to export settings underneath the transaction tab.
  3. Adjust the dates to a day ago or whenever the order was last updated in ShipStation: 
  4. Click save and sync.

Hover over the gear box and click transaction log. You will see activity.
